Co-Founder & Physics Lead
Head of Physics for five years and former Physics Lead at Seneca Learning, with more than eight years teaching Physics. An examiner for all the major boards, now teaching at one of the top 100 schools in the world.
I am looking for students who want the top grade and are ready to work for it. You do not need to find Physics easy. You need to aim for a 9 or an A*, turn up to every lesson, and be willing to get questions wrong in front of me, so we can fix them before the exam does.
Year after year, my A-Level Physics students outperform the country. This summer, at an international school in Dubai ranked among the top 100 in the world, 29% of my class achieved an A* against 11.4% nationally, and 79% achieved A* or A, nearly two and a half times the national rate. In each of my last three A-Level cohorts, a quarter or more of the class achieved an A*.
After five years as Head of Physics, I know what separates a B from an A*. It is rarely raw talent. It is knowing exactly what a question is asking and where the marks are. That is what I teach: every topic in small, clear steps, then real exam questions worked through together until the method becomes second nature.
You do not have to take my word for it. I have recorded 132 free Physics explanations on TikTok at @ScienceHertz. Watch a few before you book. The teacher you see there is the teacher you get, live, twice a week, and this time I can answer your questions.
